1. Definitions

“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our” means Stepnet Technology.

“Subscriber”, “you”, or “user” means any person or entity using our internet services.

“Services” refers to broadband, leased lines, Wi-Fi, and other internet-related services provided by Stepnet Technology.

“Network” refers to all infrastructure, equipment, and resources used to deliver our services.

2. Eligibility & Subscriber Information

Subscribers must provide valid government-issued ID proof (such as Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, etc.) as per DoT regulations.

The subscriber is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all personal and billing information provided.

Services are non-transferable without prior written approval from Stepnet Technology.

3. Service Usage Policy

Services must not be used for illegal, unlawful, or harmful activities, including but not limited to:

Sending spam, phishing, or malware.

Hosting, sharing, or distributing pirated or prohibited content.

Unauthorized access, hacking, or network abuse.

Subscribers must not resell, redistribute, or share the internet connection outside their premises without written approval.

Stepnet Technology reserves the right to monitor traffic for compliance with TRAI, DoT, and lawful requirements.

4. Fair Usage Policy (FUP)

Internet speeds are subject to the Fair Usage Policy.

If usage exceeds the defined FUP limit for your plan, speed may be reduced or additional charges may apply.

FUP limits are published with respective plans and may change from time to time.

5. Service Availability & Maintenance

While we strive to provide uninterrupted internet access, we do not guarantee continuous or error-free service.

Temporary suspension may occur due to maintenance, network upgrades, or unforeseen technical issues.

Scheduled maintenance will be communicated to subscribers in advance, wherever possible.

6. Billing, Payments & Refunds

Subscription charges must be paid in advance as per the chosen plan.

Payments must be made by the due date to avoid service suspension.

Refunds are not provided for partial months or unused services unless required by law.

Any government taxes, fees, or regulatory charges will be added to your bill as applicable.

7. Security & Customer Responsibilities

Subscribers must ensure their Wi-Fi/network is secured with a strong password.

Subscribers are responsible for all activity carried out using their connection.

Stepnet Technology will not be responsible for any misuse, hacking, or illegal activity originating from a subscriber’s connection.

8. Privacy & Data Retention

We respect your privacy and comply with Indian data protection laws.

Subscriber usage records and logs may be retained and shared with government authorities if required under the IT Act 2000, DoT guidelines, or court orders.

Personal data will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law.

9. Limitation of Liability

Stepnet Technology shall not be liable for:

Loss of business, profits, or data due to service interruptions.

Unauthorized use of subscriber’s connection by third parties.

Issues beyond our reasonable control such as natural disasters, power outages, or government restrictions.

10. Indemnification

Subscribers agree to indemnify Stepnet Technology, its employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or penalties arising from misuse of services or violation of these Terms.

11. Suspension & Termination

Services may be suspended or terminated if:

Payment is not received on time.

Subscriber violates DoT/TRAI regulations or these Terms.

Services are misused for illegal activities.

Stepnet Technology may terminate services without prior notice if mandated by government authorities.

12. Changes to Plans & Terms

Plans, tariffs, and Terms & Conditions are subject to change as per TRAI/DoT regulations or company policies.

Subscribers will be notified of major changes via our website, email, or SMS.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in [Insert City/State, e.g., Delhi/Mumbai].
